Our Story
We didn't plan to end up in Roatan. But the best adventures rarely follow a script.
In 2017, we traded our life in Little Rock, Arkansas — Pamela as an ICU nurse, Josh in the craft beer industry — for a one-way ticket to Mexico. We spent four years in Playa del Carmen before the ocean called us somewhere new.
In 2020, we bought a 42-foot catamaran called Sailing Mañana and made her home. For five years we island-hopped the Western Caribbean — Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras — chasing good weather, great dive sites, and that feeling you get when you're exactly where you're supposed to be.
Then in April 2025, we sailed into Roatan. And we knew. This was it.
Casa Mañana was built in 2016, and when we saw it, we had to make it ours. We live upstairs; your rental is the entire ground floor — completely separate and totally private. And yes, we brought the whole crew: four dogs (Chamaco, Sissy, Reef, and Cora) and two cats (Chispita and Rio). You might spot them around the property.
When we're not hosting, you'll find us at a local beach bar with cold drinks in hand, toes in the sand, soaking up live music and Caribbean sun.
We can't wait to share this place with you.
